Policy Plan

1. Objectives of the Foundation

The foundation is dedicated to supporting single mothers in The Gambia. This is achieved by collecting and providing essential life necessities, including food, medical care, clothing, housing, and education. Support is provided without discrimination based on race, religion, or background.

2. Activities to be Performed

To achieve its objectives, the foundation carries out the following activities:

  • Collecting goods that provide for basic needs (such as food, clothing, medical supplies, and school materials).

  • Organizing and executing (aid) projects in The Gambia to support single mothers and their children.

  • Guiding local partners and volunteers in the distribution of aid.

  • Facilitating shelter, education, and medical care where needed.

These activities comply with the requirements of the Netherlands Tax and Customs Administration (Belastingdienst), which states that a policy plan must clearly describe the activities an institution performs to achieve its goals.

3. Methods of Income Acquisition

The foundation generates income through:

  • Donations from individuals.

  • Contributions from companies and sponsors.

  • Fundraising campaigns or benefit events.

  • Receiving in-kind donations (goods).

4. Management and Expenditure of Assets

The foundation manages its assets carefully and purposefully. All received funds are spent on the execution of aid activities. Assets are used exclusively for:

  • The purchase and distribution of basic necessities.

  • Transport and logistics costs for shipping goods to The Gambia.

  • Local project costs (such as education, shelter, or medical support).

The foundation has no profit motive and operates entirely on a non-profit basis.
