Via mijn partner, die Gambiaans is, heb ik tijd in het land doorgebracht en met eigen ogen de realiteit gezien waar veel vrouwen dagelijks mee te maken hebben.<\/p>\n\n<p>Het zien van deze ontberingen heeft een blijvende indruk op mij gemaakt. Through my partner, who is Gambian, I have spent time in the country and witnessed firsthand the realities many women face on a daily basis. Seeing this level of hardship made a lasting impact on me.
